The "S.T.A.T.S." (Swinging Together Always To Support) 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament" will once again be held at Glen Afton Golf Course in which we expect to have:

The Heart & Stroke Foundation of PEI is a volunteer-based health charity that leads in eliminating heart disease and stroke through the advancement of research and its application, the promotion of healthy living, and advocacy. All the money raised at Stats’ golf tournament will help to fund health promotion and awareness work right here on PEI.
- Heart disease and stroke are the leading causes of death for Canadians.
- Stroke is the forth leading cause of death in Canada and the leading cause of adult neurological disability
- In the Maritimes we have a higher than national average of deaths from heart disease and stroke.
- About 250 Islanders will have a stroke this year.
- 60% will be left with some kind of disability

Autism Society of Prince Edward Island
The Autism Society of Prince Edward Island is a non-profit, charitable organization which strives to improve the lives of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families. The society promotes, support and advocates quality education, medical treatment and services for individuals with Autism. Through monthly parental/family support meetings, workshops and newsletter/email communications, the society provides information and support to families and to individuals with Autism.
